MTV & ZAIN BRING ROAD TO MAMA BACK TO DRC Passi, Werrason, Ferre Gola To Perform Kinshasa, 25 October 2010: Passi, Werrason, Ferre Gola, DJ Noise (France), DJ Meji & DJ Abdoul, are set to storm DRC’s L’Atmosphere on Saturday 27 November for another breathtaking edition of the Road to MAMA, the exclusive VIP party tour brought to you by MTV base and Zain. L’Atmosphere in Kinshasa is the setting for a mesmerizing evening of Africa’s finest urban beats starring music giants from across the Continent. Passi, the influential rapper from Congo Brazzaville and member of French-Congolese rap crew Bisso na Bisso, will be making his debut in the DRC, demonstrating the crowd-pleasing style in evidence on his seminal solo albums “Racines”, “Revolution” and “Evolution”. Ferre Gola will be showing off the rumba moves that recently wowed crowds at Le Zenith in Paris, alongside Werrason a driving force and ambassador for Congolese rumba around the world. Ripping it up on the decks will be featured French DJ, DJ Noize, plus local heroes DJ Meji and DJ Abdoul. Part of a pan-African musical celebration, Road To MAMAs - DRC is one of two Road To MAMA events building up to the third edition of the MTV Africa Music Awards with Zain, which takes place in Lagos on 11 December 2010.
